This blog has one visitor

I just checked Google Analytics for this blog. And I saw I got one visitor. Based on the analytics the visitor came from the U.S.A. After checking more details I found out that the ONLY visitor is ME!

WOW. This is pretty cool. Just one person visited this blog. And it was me:-)))))).

Hey, this blog has now two visitors, you and me ;-)

Guess what, I'm also a brand new customer of yours. I just signed up for a Shipito Account. I think it's a great business idea you had and it's exactly what I was looking for. As soon as I got my account I also made my first shopping stop at Newegg.com – that particular 4GB piece of RAM for my MacBook Pro I was looking all over the planet and is only shipping in the US for a reasonable price. To my surprise a) there's a sales tax in CA (ok…) and b) Newegg.com is apparently no longer shipping to a Shipito address… Bummer… Now what? Your excellent support service suggested an assisted purchase. But this would put the price to a level that's not attractive anymore. So why would Newegg.com not deliver to a Shipito address anyway? I still hope there's a solution as I really don't want to give up my new shiny account at Shipito…

    Hello Juerg,

I was hoping now one will find out about this for a while:-)

Regarding the sales tax. If any store has a branch in California they must charge a sales tax.

I see that some customers still got packages from Newegg in the last month. But it is really hard with some stores as they change policies or getting more and more paranoid and cancelling orders. Sometimes something doesn't match perfectly so they consider the order as "high risk" and cancel it.

I would recommend to look at other retailers. There must be someone else who must be selling it too. For example Amazon.com?
