Our customers are great inspiration how to improve our business. Sometimes they have to push us little bit before we do something. It is not easy to know what improvement is the important one. There are so many ideas that it is almost overwhelming. But one of the recent improvements we did in our Shipito business was very successful.
When you have more than one package to be shipped by FedEx to one destination you can get an additional discount from FedEx if you use MPS (multiple-package shipment).
Look at this example of shipments by our customers:
Shipito customers have huge discount on FedEx shipments. They get another big discount from already discounted rates if they send more than one package at the same time. It all works automatically. Just select Fedex shipping on your Shipito account and if the addressee is the same the discount will be calculated once the packages are mailed out.

John, i hope you don’t mind that i write in English, since my knowledge of Czech is VERY basic (i had to use Google Translate to read the blog) 
I almost accidentally stumbled upon your blog, although i am a happy Shipito customer for several months now and find it just excellent. Especially since you almost only company that sends items using USPS, which is cheaper and just plain better for me. Some questions
1) Why didn’t you advertised the new delivery method – letter scanning ? It’s a great new feature.
2) Do you have any plans for non-CA based warehouse ? A lot of electronics e-shops (such as Newegg) are located in CA, so CA sales tax and environment fee adds up to a pretty steep levels.
3) On semi-related note – i really hope that whoever bought that KitchenAid mixer knows that he has to deal with different voltage
I guess there is no way for me to hide anywhere:-). Once people start translating my Czech to English it feels like time to start writing an English blog. I like the direct communication with customers and partners. I like when people see what are doing and how our company works.
1. Letter scanning. Yes, you are right. We didn’t even mentioned that anywhere. Sometimes we are adding improvements in our Shipito business so fast that it feels like we forgetting to mention it. Any letters can be now scanned and emailed. Just select Email shipping on your package in your Shipito account.
And on the screen for shipping method choose Email shipping. It works for letters only.
2. Non CA warehouse
Yes we have something planned and it should happen in about 2-3 months.
3. Yes, good point about the voltage. I hope customers realize that when shopping in the U.S.A.
